Giving Back

Every walk gives back.
We make a donation to a Veterans Service Organization, like K9s For Warriors, for every sale made.
K9s For Warriors is dedicated to ending Veteran suicide by providing highly trained Service Dogs to military Veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma.
With the majority of their dogs being rescues, this life-saving program creates an unbreakable bond between Warrior and K9—one that fosters mutual healing, recovery, and a renewed sense of purpose.

🐾 Real Dog People
We started OBX Pet because we know firsthand how hard it can be to truly relax on vacation when your pet is back at the house waiting for you.
As lifelong dog lovers and pet owners ourselves, we built OBX Pet to give visitors a simple, trustworthy way to enjoy their beach days, dinner, golf outings, and adventures–without rushing back or worrying about their pup.
Our own dogs, Seamus and Murphy, are a huge part of our lives and inspired the fun personality behind Pupshitters™ and the relaxed, local feel of everything we do.
We're not a giant app or a faceless booking service. We're real people who genuinely love animals, live in Corolla, and understand how important trust, communication, and peace of mind are when someone is caring for your pet.
Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a walk, medication, or just some extra attention while you're out enjoying the OBX, we're here to help.
And after every visit, we'll send you a photo and update–because we'd want the same for our own pups too. 🐾

“Great idea - something so needed in Corolla! I usually skip golf day, its a long day and I don't like to leave Finley for more than a few hours especially in the rental. This worked great, he got his walk and I wasn't stressing the whole time.
